Iam on leave today.
As i had to go for a medical examination.
At a private clinic at Amara Singapore.
Was supposed to have check up earlier
but i kept on procrastinating.
I always feel that it is a complete waste
of money and time.
Check up for what?
Iam healthy mah.
See, iam not sick at all!
And partly because i fear of what
the doctor say about me.
My appointment was scheduled
to be at 9am.

Took the route that i used to take.
Somehow it inevitably brings back memories.
Because i used to work in a company
around that area.
Like how I rushed from Temasek
Poly to office last time.
Haha.. But that's another story.
I am side tracking now.

Anyway, i waited quite a long time
even though i came earlier than 9am.
I was finally able to see the
doctor at around 10.15am.
I told him i suffered from chest pains
and breathing difficulties.
And several incidents that occured
since i was in sec 1.
He advised me to seek an examination
with the heart specialist.
And a cheaper alternative is to
go to polyclinic first where they
might refer me to the cardiovascular thing.

When i heard what he said, i almost cried.
I showed him my recent health screening
results stating that iam healthy.
He then said that it was just a general
check up and it won't show
what's happening to my heart.
*Sigh!

Therefore, the moral of the story
is... please do not follow in my footsteps hor!
DO NOT take your health for granted.
GO for a checkup at the first sign of discomfort.
Do it before it's too late ok?
